Migraines are a chronic condition that consists of recurrent attacks of severe headaches. Migraines are a form of vascular headache that can last from 4 to 72 hours. The temporal artery enlarges during a migraine headache. The enlargement of the artery impacts the nerves that surround the artery. Migraines activate the sympathetic nervous system.
The sympathetic nervous system impacts the primitive “fight or flight” response of the body. During a migraine the sympathetic nervous system’s impact on the intestine can cause nausea, vomiting and diarrhea. The activation of the sympathetic nervous system also delays the emptying of the stomach into the small intestine. If the stomach does not empty to the small intestine the body will be unable to absorb medication into the blood stream. This is the reason that medication has little effect on people suffering from migraines once the pain of the migraine headache begins.
Women tend to suffer from migraines more often than men, but overall, nearly 30 million people in the United States experience regular migraines. Migraines usually begin in childhood or early adulthood, but can also begin late in life. Most people who suffer with migraines do not receive a migraine diagnosis from the physician.

After a little bit of chores done this morning, my daughter found her bible trivia game and she start making me answer all the questions. I am kind of rusted about the bible these days so some of the questions I cannot remember the answer.
But anywho, at least I tried and got most of the answer right. Happy New Year everyone!

Do you want to make the most out of your New Year's but don't know where to start?
Arrange a get-together with some friends and family or go to someone else's. If you are hosting it, provide refreshments including snacks and drinks (alcoholic or non-alcoholic). Get some good music that you know everyone will enjoy. It can be a small get-together or a large one.Watch the ball drop in Times Square. You can go there the moment it happens or watch it live on television. Either way, this is a fun family tradition that has been carried on for many years.Treat yourself to something you haven't had for a while. It could be a spa day, or an extra slice of cake, or a short vacation. It should be something pleasurable that you only get to do once in a blue moon.
Make New Years Resolutions. Everybody loves New Years Resolutions! These are small promises to yourself that you make at the beginning of the year, usually to improve yourself. At midnight, say, "I love you," to who you're with. This is a great, fun way to start the year.Go on a road trip. Bring your family. Go somewhere you will all enjoy. Relax. You don't HAVE to do anything for New Years. You can just sit back, relax, and enjoy it while it lasts.
If you host a get-together, temporarily lock up all of your pets. Somebody may be allergic. Do not serve alcoholic drinks at a get-together if minors will be attending.

We all have problems in life we'd like to overcome. Sometimes we can go straight to the solution with little thought beforehand, other times a plan is the better option, especially if the goal is complex and involves many steps. If you set out a plan, then the work of making it happen becomes clear, and even if you don't make the progress you want, you'll at least know how far you've progressed. Whatever happens, you had your own plan and even if it all goes wrong, you'll learn from it for next time.
Write down the problems that you want to solve. Sometimes this is the most difficult step. Is something happening that's wasting your time in life? Are you having trouble in dealing with the opposite sex? Maybe you would just like to do better in something and feel you can form a plan to make it better.Use brainstorming techniques to write down everything — everything — about your problem. A crucial step, it is important to never self-censor here. You can always cut things later. Right now it is important to get everything down.
One thing will lead to another, things you have not thought of will appear, and you will start to form an idea of the steps it will take to realize your goal and solve your problem. You may even come upon the solution while brainstorming. There are many different kinds of brainstorming techniques, some are here: Mind Maps, Brainstorming,Free writing. Determine what's different about your current situation from where you want to be. In other words, start thinking about your goals and how you want to achieve them. Your goals will be the solutions to your problem your plan will achieve.
Write down your goals for each part of the task. Under goals, write what you need to do to accomplish that goal.Put the goals you need to do into groups or 'chunks', and put those in the proper order.Set a time limit for your plan by choosing a realistic date for when you want to achieve a given goal. Make sure to think about how 'big' your goal is, and the amount of change that will have to happen. Write your plan on one sheet of paper, or print it out that way. Include a time scale on the paper to show when each chunk of work should happen, and when you want to check progress you've made. Print or write smaller parts of a larger plan.

We are rapidly becoming a society that cannot resolve to do anything. 92% will fail to accomplish their 2007 goals. As of Dec 2005 only 47% even set New Year goals, down from 88% in 2001. Yet people who set goals are 10 times more likely to achieve them. It seems that we have no resolve. Here is how to help overcome this problem.
Take a bit to think about what you need to improve on in your life. It can be physically, emotionally, spiritually, mentally. Anything you can think of. List your goals in order of importance. Make them realistic. Be realistic with your targets, but don't make them too easy, either. Instead of having one massive target, consider having multiple smaller targets. But also think positive and NEVER negative about what you are doing. Choose to make changes at any time of the year. Don't put all the pressure on yourself to make changes at the arbitrary start date of January 1st. But it shouldn't be long after.
Develop a time-activated plan under each goal. For the top 3 goals you listed, make a detailed, achievable plan. For example, for losing weight, ask yourself how you will do that. Will you stop eating carbs? Cut calories? Go to the gym 3 times a week for 20 minutes at a time? Create accountability: Set up dates for evaluation with a mentor. This helps you stay focused and evaluates methods for improvement. It's even better if you find someone who has the same resolution.Remind yourself about it. For every day on your calender or schedule, write down what you will do for that day, what time you will do it, and don't forget to actually do it! No matter how busy you are. They're called challenging for a reason!
Focus on the process rather than the end goal. Take each step one at a time and be happy with your progress. The only way you'll get to where you want to go is to complete every small step along the way.Reward yourself for a job well done: determine ahead of time what rewards will be at small milestones of accomplishment. Have frequent small rewards and the "GRAND PRIZE" for completion. When the new year begins and you do or you don't have a resolution don't worry because you can make a resolution right away and make today the beginning of a new year for the rest of your life.

New Year's Eve is a big enough night without the added stress of worrying about choosing the perfect dress. Here's a simple guide to help.
List some stores you want to go in, and your shopping budget. Write down your thoughts about hemlines and necklines. Do you want a short prom style dress, or a long evening gown? It's also a good idea to think about colors which suit you. For New Years Eve, its usually better to pick "party colors" when buying a dress, such as gold, silver, purple, maroon, navy and black. Set some time aside for shopping. A good time to buy your dress is after Christmas, as shops are usually quiet then. It's best to avoid the first two days straight after Christmas though as stores are crowded because of the sales. December 28th or 29th are good days to go.
Choose a dress which will suit whatever event your going to. If your going to a party which will have fireworks, buy a shrug or stylish shawl to go over what you're wearing for when you go outside. If you know you'll be staying inside, then you probably won't need one.
If the entire party is going to be hosted outdoors, a dress past the knee with cap sleeves may be an appropriate choice. Dress accordingly.
Make sure the dresses fabric is suitable. Satin and cotton are good choices, however linen or suede may be less appropriate as they are more summer-like materials.Think about decoration. Bows, sequins, embroidery, and beads all look pretty on dresses, however certain types of decoration suit certain dresses. Embroidery is more suited to classical evening gowns, whereas bows can look better on prom dresses
Make sure your dress isn't too long or tight to dance in, if you're going to be dancing. Choose a matching or similar color to your dress for your handbag or clutch bag. Keep jewelery simple. It shouldn't outshine your dress, just accessorise it. Stick to silver or gold, and wear a maximum of three pieces. Have fun!

Feel Happy when Christmas Is Over
Monday, December 28, 2009
The Christmas tree is due to be taken down, the presents have been opened and the awful month of January is looming. Fear not!
Spend some time appreciating what you have been given for Christmas, if you have been given books, read them; DVDs, watch them etc. Enjoy yourself and relax. Participate in a favorite sport or exercise program. A good walk will clear the brain while burning off some of those holiday calories. Touch football with friends might be another option.Plan something a festive activity to celebrate the New Year. If you enjoy a night out, make reservations to celebrate the New Year with good friends, if you prefer the comforts of home, plan an evening of good food and television. Or plan a festive home party. Be sure to offer non-alcoholic drinks and make arrangements for a designated driver.
Take some time to reflect on the past year, if it was a good year, make a memorable scrapbook of what you enjoyed about it. If not, forget it, make a list of (realistic) resolutions and look to the future. If you are a child/teenager, you probably will have been given some money for Christmas. Take yourself out to the shops and indulge in some new clothes or CDs for the new year. Try to make it positive music. When the decorations have gone, don't leave the house bare. Buy some pretty winter flowers or a wall hanging in warm, comforting colours. Look into a new hobby to occupy your time. Think outside the box, you could try cooking, gardening, journal-keeping or painting. If you're not the creative type, perhaps a sport is more your thing. Keep happy by maintaining a positive attitude.
Invest in things which make you feel comfortable and happy, your favorite flowers, music or films. Make a special effort with your appearance. Exercise or participate in sporting activities. See a therapist, if needed, to battle the winter blahs.Keep in mind that this is not the last Christmas there will ever be. Keep looking forward to the next year if this helps. You can also remember the other upcoming holidays, such as New Year's Day.

Tired of that grungy, plain T-Shirt and jeans look? Jealous of all your friends that always look like they've just walked off a magazine? Want to be the fashion idol of all your friends and family? Good news -- it's not too hard. You don't even have to break the bank to get that high-fashion look. All you need is some determination...
Take care of your body. Although we don't love to admit it, having a decent figure makes high fashion clothing look extremely sexy. Eat right(fruits and vegetables) and drink 8 glasses of water a day. Water clears out your complexion and balances your body. If you are bigger, a fashionable wardrobe can still look stunning. Just make sure that you buy flattering clothes in cuts that emphasize your beauty, not your weight.Wear good, quality make-up. With makeup, it is all about quality, not quantity. The key to looking high fashion is not only having nice clothes, but a great face! Wear a subtle bronzer in the summer, and a moisturizer that will make your skin glow in the winter. Find out what colors go with your skin tone and eye color. Remember: try to empasize one feature at a time. If you are wearing a bold lip color, try to keep the rest of your makeup modest, and if you have bold eye shadow or liner, keep the rest modest too.
Add jewelery if you are looking to plain. The difference between a T-Shirt and jeans without and with a necklace is huge! Depending on the trend this rule will vary but for the most consistent "High-Fashion" go with more classic stlyes (pearls, gold, silver) and avoid too many plastic, enamel, or wooden accesories.Pick your trends wisely. No matter what the new fashion is you should be very selective on what trends to follow. No true Style Maven attacks every trend that trapes down the runway. You should own quality (which does not always mean designer) Jeans, and cotton shirts. Because we tend to buy accesories less often than clothing this may be where you should invest in your "statement" or designer peices.Heels should be reserved for outings and gatherings. One who wears heels to the grocer, dry cleaner, or other similar environments will be deemed as "trashy" or from a lower socio-econimic status. Shy away from running sneakers (although you should own a decent pair)for a more casual shoe consider a flat, loafer, or slide, and for summer a stylish espadrill leather sandal or flat. Be confident. No matter what label your clothing is, exude the confidence that you deserve. Wear the garment, don't let the garment wear you!
I encourage shopping at any store that fancies you. For more high end pieces consider consignment or authorized discount vendors. When Shopping High Fashion, Keep It Clean. Things such as fluro and plaid, which are in style at the moment, should not be the first thing you reach for. Go to the more sleek items. Stay away from prints, as prints will go out of fashion quickly

Start The Right Business for You
Friday, December 25, 2009
Making the decision to go into business for yourself is a complex decision that most likely took a lot of thought and consideration. Now the only decision left to make is which business franchise is the right opportunity for you. Maybe the choice seems obvious, or maybe you think it won’t matter what kind of business you run as long as you get to be the boss. A business like Colorado Springs chiropractor can be a tricky thing, and which small business opportunity you choose may end up being the deciding factor in whether your career as a small business owner is a success or a failure.
Some business need to be run by people who like and appreciate the service being provided and must continually hold the interest and passion of those people who are operating them. Your employees, customers, clients and business contacts must be able to see and feel your passion for the business that you own. To that end, the selection of a business opportunity becomes as important as the initial decision to purchase to start your own .
Don’t be overwhelmed, starting a business is a great option for an excited and motivated businessman or woman who is looking to expand their experiences and increase their profitability. Just make sure that as you move forward with your decision to enter the world of small or big business that you are stopping along the way to examine what you are doing, why you are doing it, and how you are going to continue to do it well. Torrents Search Engine
Wednesday, December 23, 2009
Torrents are small files that track files and programs listed on websites. Your computer uses this tracking info to connect to sources for the files and programs desired. The computer needs a bittorrent client program to "read" these instructions.
Install a good torrent client program.Utorrent (or µtorrent - it's the same program it is just called by different names) will work well for anybody who uses a windows operating system. Azureus is a torrent program that works on most PC platforms.
Download Torrents. Once the client of choice is installed and properly configured, simply double clicking a torrent file listed on a website should download the torrent file, which will then start the client program automatically. Once the client program has started, it should begin to download the program or file desired after it connects to the hosts that have the parts of the file needed (about a minute or so). Visit the link, search and download torrent.

Since it's Christmas eve in Philippines, thought about trying to calling my family there, so I did. It took me like five times to try to called. For some reason the line was messed up. The second calling attempt that I made, I got some girl calling me" Honey." Mam it is so messed up. Finally fifth times I got my sister but the line was not that clear, but she can hear me... and I cannot hear her that well. But anyway, we manage to talk for several minutes, she took a little break. She was working when I called, she does cosmetology, so she was digging someone else's nail.
Anywho, I greet her a happy holiday. And told her that I will try to call my dad, seems like I am not that lucky, I was notable to get my dad. I will try again later. Hopefully I will him this time.

Just wanted to share this with you all:
According to the Alaska Department of Fish and Game, while both male and female reindeer grow antlers in the summer each year, male reindeer drop their antlers at the beginning of winter, usually late November to mid-December.
Female reindeer retain their antlers till after they give birth in the spring.
Therefore, according to EVERY historical rendition depicting Santa's reindeer, EVERY single one of them, from Rudolph to Blitzen, had to be a girl.
We should've known…...
ONLY women would be able to drag a man in a red velvet suit all around the world in one night and not get lost.
Merry Christmas Guys

Politics is a broad, complicated subject. It involves issues like diplomacy, war, government finance, and such. It also is a significant part of your life, since it's what dictates how you're allowed to live, so it's a good idea to understand it.It's important to learn about the governments of other countries, as well as your own, in order to understand how and why your country interacts with others. Learn the pros and cons of all the governments as well.
Learn specifically about how your country is run. This goes from national government all the way down to city government. Voting and lawmaking is also included in this.# Find out what rights you are guaranteed and where their limits are. In America, for example, people are guaranteed free speech. However, free speech ends where another person's rights begin. Threatening to kill someone, for example, is not covered under the freedom of speech. Learn what your rights are and how you can exercise them. Watch and read political news to find out about current events. There will no doubt be issues in the paper and media that are of political nature. This could include elections, social issues, the economy, other countries, or government-related problems. Essential oils are often expensive and very precious. They have a variety of possible uses, such as massage oils, fragrances, air fresheners, homemade cosmetic additions, aromatherapy, health aids etc., so you are likely to want to keep them for as long as possible to ensure that you get the most out of them. It is quite simple to store them for longevity and to ensure that they do not lose their effectiveness.
Purchase good quality essential oils. If you buy good quality, it will last longer. Always purchase essential oils from a store that has a good turnover, to ensure that you are buying recent stock. Ask if in doubt. You can always return the item if you are mislead.Store the essential oils in a cool place.Store essential oils in dark glass containers. Ensure that the container is airtight. Preferably, purchase the essential oil already packaged this way. If not, or if you are making your own or buying in bulk, transfer to dark glass containers with airtight lids.Store essential oils away from direct sunlight.
Essential oils should not be kept for more than one year. Use them liberally and with joy, for they are a wonderful addition to daily life in many ways. If you do not use them quickly, you risk having the oils change fragrance and possibly turning rancid. There is no value in holding on to them. Where an essential oil has been diluted with a carrier oil (such as almond oil, olive oil etc. for massage oils etc.), the solution will last 6 months if you add a capsule of vitamin E oil. Vitamin E is an antioxidant, which means that it has a preservative capacity. Some recommend keeping oils and oil preparations in the refrigerator. This helps to slow down the chances of the oils turning rancid. At the very least, however, they should be stored according to the steps above.

My kids are off school for Holiday. They would not be back school until January 4th, they were trilled about the holiday. They can sleep in and wake up whenever they want to. And one thing they cannot wait about is opening their present for Christmas.
Anyway, I am enjoying their company, since I have not spend much time with them. It is kind of warm here, so all the snow we got for the past few days is kind of melting. Kids are complaining and saying" there's no more snow to play with". And I told them that there will be plenty of snow to come. Hope you guys are having a great Monday!

Going on holiday with friends is one of the best ways to travel. You are able to experience new places (or revisit old ones) with the comfort and companionship of people close to you. The only big stress is trying to get it organized, which is where this guide steps in.
The most important thing to decide first is where you want to go. Maybe you have an idea of a place you want to visit but don't know who to go with, or perhaps you and friends decided together that you wanted to go somewhere specific. Either way, the location is what defines the rest of the planning. Once you have decided on where to go, you must decide who to go with. The reason you decide the place first is because certain people don't do well in certain places. You wouldn't want to take a friend who sunburns easily on a desert hiking trip. If you made the decision with a group of friends on where to go, then make sure you can handle being with those people for however long you are going away. Also think about anyone who might not have been there for the idea but would still love to go.
Length of the trip is the next decision. Work out how many days you can take off and try to think around major holidays so that you can stay longer without missing extra days of work, school, etc. Use those holidays to your advantage, that's why you have them!Once you know where, with who and for how long the trip is, book it. You can always go through a travel agent if you want to keep things really simple, but of course you will pay a lot more for their time. You can always jump online and find cheap fares easily. Utilize the sites that are meant to save money and time, such as Travelocity, Priceline, Hotwire, Orbitz, Expedia, etc. They are all money-saving sites where you can even package flights, hotels and rental cars. Sometimes they even have special deals for certain places, per number of days and number of people, so always check those specials first.
Last but not least, make sure that you try to plan at least a few things to do once you get to your destination. You don't want to reach there and then argue with your friends about what to see and do in the amount of time. Maybe you can each pick something to do and agree that everyone has to do all of those, and then everything else can be spur of the moment.

The weather report last night predicted about 6 new inches of snow. I was up late last night, and saw the ground covered with snow. I admire it for a while, i know snow can be very pretty as long as they don't turn to slushy kind of snow. My kids would have fun sledding....except that my son is still sick... homesick with stomack flue. They said stomack flue usually last 2 days. I am just sorry he would not be enjoying the the snow today. Anyway, here is one some photos from my back yard that I took early today.

f you are trying to help a friend stop taking harmful or illegal drugs, then you have taken the first step; being a true friend! However, that is probably the easiest part of the process. The rest may prove to be more difficult than you could imagine, possibly even causing you to challenge your own belief system.
First and foremost, your friend must acknowledge that using drugs is in fact a problem. Without acknowledging that a problem exists, there will never be a solution. Depending on the stage of drug use--experimental, social, habitual, dependent--your friend may not see a problem at all. This is where you must define the problem(s) for your friend.
Take action! Your friend must decide to stop using drugs. Only he/she can do that. People are motivated by either pleasure or pain. Determining which is the motivator for your friend will help narrow the focus of effort. Cause pain if your friend uses drugs, try to give pleasure to him/her.
Get help. Heavy drug use requires professional help to stop initially, and for the long term. You can help by: calling for professional help such as the folks at Narconon 1-800-871-4350; taking them to a clinic or a professional; help them change their environment to get rid of the temptation.
Be a positive force in your friend's life. Let your friend know (by word and deed) that you are there for support. Help your friend remained focused on the positive goals that don't include drugs. Reinforce your friend's good behaviors without drugs. Don't abandon your friend when they slip up.
Constantly remind of the negative consequences of drug use such as health issues, legal issues, and the potential loss of you as their friend. Weigh those against the perceived benefits of using the drugs. Get your friend to admit that choosing not to use drugs yields the greater benefit. Chemical dependency is one of life's most difficult problems to overcome. Patience and persistence are both necessary. Always keep focused on the positive outcome. If your friend is on drugs remind your friend that there's more to life then getting high there is a whole world of possibilities out there just waiting to be opened. Look online for help. Sites like "Above the Influence" can give you helpful advice and information about helping your friend.

Despite their name, bed bugs do not only live in beds. They can hitch a ride on passengers’ belongings and infest planes, trains, subways, buses, taxis and ships. Any residences with large numbers of occupants, such as hotels, motels, hospitals and other health care facilities, apartments, rooming houses, college dormitories and camp cabins, are prone to infestations. Bed bugs can spread through an entire building as they move from room to room and floor to floor.
They can be found in clean and top-rated hotels as well as budget motels. Travelers should be aware that bed bugs may even be lurking in the homes of friends and relatives. Can you tell bed bug bites images? The reddish-brown bug is wingless and six-legged. The body of a bed bug is flat, oval and measures approximately 1/4 inch long. When the parasite has fed off the blood of a human or animal, the body appears larger and darker. Newly hatched nymphs are straw-colored and are only the size of a pinhead.
Visit bedbugsguide.com for basic info about bed bugs and more.

When you get anxious or stressed, do you feel "knots" of tension forming in your stomach? Soft belly meditation is an exercise to make you feel calmer, peaceful, and relaxed by releasing the tightness in your abdominal area, and the negativity that caused it.
Sit silently in a comfortable chair. It helps to have objects in the room that comfort you, such as an antique doll, a mural, or a symbol of your religion. Set a kitchen timer. When you're first starting soft belly, set the timer for five to ten minutes and gradually add time as you do soft belly more often. # Close your eyes. Start breathing slowly, silently, and deeply, inhaling through your nose and exhaling through your mouth. Let your stomach be "soft" as you breathe, expanding on the inhale, and relaxing on the exhale. You can say "soft" on the inhale and "belly" on the exhale. Remind your stomach to be soft, and repeat the phrase: "soft....belly....soft....belly....". After you've concentrated on the softness of your stomach for a minute or two, focus on something. You can focus on your trip to exotic mountains, or maybe playing with your kids when they were children. Just think of a relaxing memory or event happening in the future. As you focus on your subject, the "bad" feelings like hate, depression, anger, imperfection, worry, and many more start to trickle away.
When you're ready or when the timer rings, open your eyes and take your attention to the room. Do it as slowly as you need to. It is a good idea to dim the lights or close the shades halfway before starting. After you've come to like soft belly, you may do it for longer periods of time or multiple times a day.If you feel jumpy, excited, agitated, or like you just can't do soft belly, take a walk to the park, around the block, or to a friend's house. Then, go back to the room and try again.
If you are some place where you know you will not be disturbed, it will relax you more.

As the website says, the Ice hotel is only on loan from the Torne River in northern Swedish. But before it melts away, you can experience what it's like to sleep in a modern-day igloo, have a drink at the Absolute ice bar, or exchange your wedding vows in the ephemeral Church. And be sure to visit the art gallery, which showcases ice art by competitors in the hotels annual design contest. Better make your plans soon- when summer comes, the fantastic structure, art, bar, and all disappears into the raging rapids.

Deal With Being Considered Perfect
Friday, December 4, 2009
At school, by family, anywhere, do they always tell you you're perfect, when you know that you aren't? Does it start to get on you're nerves when you disagree and they tell you no? Well, follow the simple steps below to find out how to deal with it.
1. Know that you don't have to try hard to be perfect to meet other's expectations
2. Be yourself!
3. Show them that you make mistakes
4. Don't let what they say get to you, stay modest!
5. When you disagree and they still tell you you're perfect, say something to them like, "I make mistakes, we are just as imperfect as each other."
6. If they still disagree, just ignore what they're saying or list some of you're own faults
7. When you get so frustrated when you're parents say that you're perfect to someone at work, or a stranger, and you're standing right there. Don't show that you're frustrated. Just simply say, "I'm not perfect, I'm human. I make mistakes"
8. Don't try to make everything you do worse to make yourself not be perfect or close to perfect.
9. Stay Confident, and every morning, you might want to look at yourself in the mirror and say, "I am (insert name here) and I am not perfect, I am human."

My son justin love to play the game called roblox, and my daughter love playing toontown and the newly game he just enrolled into which is ,clubpenguin, sometimes i can't get them off the computers but thank goodness with the rules I'd set. Deal With Loneliness
Thursday, December 3, 2009
People feel lonely for a number of reasons, such as not having enough friends, not knowing how to be close to the people you know, or not being accepted by those you try to befriend.Everyone experiences loneliness. Some humans are more socially accepted. Some who try to be social remain socially rejected, and some have difficulty even trying.
1. Realize that we all get lonely. It doesn't mean there is anything wrong with you. We're particularly prone to loneliness when we're making transitions, especially for the better. If you're changing, such as exploring new alternatives and paths for yourself, you're bound to get a little lonely as you look for people who share your new interests and thoughts. There is no guarantee however, that you will be successful at forming new relationships.
2. Call or get together with the people you know, even if they aren't who you want to be with right now. Human contact makes more contact easier. This includes your mother and the guy at the deli counter. Listen more than talk. Listening, and drawing people out will deepen your contacts more than just talking endlessly about yourself. Do not exhaust your existing connections; these are all you have at the moment.
3. Get involved in anything where you will meet people. If you are very shy, find a group for social anxiety, even if it has to be online (obviously it's better if it's not). Look on places like Craig's List for activities in your area. Volunteering can help. But don't attend functions with the idea of making friends or meeting people. Being too demanding is a sign of loneliness. Try to go with no expectations whatsoever, and to enjoy yourself regardless of what happens.
4. Challenge yourself to take the initiative in social relationships whenever you can. You ask the person if they want to chat, get a coffee, whatever. Remember how much you like it when people are attracted to you. Remember though, that you are trying to make a place for yourself in another person's life. Do not think that just showing up will win you instant friends. It can be a long, painstaking process, and most people you meet already have their own friends and lives. You must always show interest in other people before they will show interest in you, if they ever do.
5. Take risks about revealing yourself. Say what's on your mind, if it seems at all likely the other person will be receptive. It can hurt when it backfires, but it's worth it a million times over if it works.
6. Remember that we are all alone inside our heads; we are born and die alone; it's nothing special. Every person who has ever lived has been lonely. Love wouldn't exist without loneliness to inspire it. Look at your loneliness with detachment.
7. Notice the difference between loneliness and solitude. Imagine this is the last day you will ever be alone. What would you do?
8. Join an online community. Sometimes it can help. If you're willing to help others as well as being helped yourself, check out the free Phone Buddies peer counseling community.
9. When feeling lonely, don't allow yourself to wallow in your loneliness. Do something, anything! Take a walk, ride your bike.
10. Do everything you would normally do with a partner or friend. Many times it isn't the partner or friend you are missing, but the activities and hobbies you shared. Take yourself out for a date. For example, if you would have gone out to dinner or to a movie on a date, then take yourself out to a movie or to a nice restaurant. Don't hold yourself back.
Connect with anyone who you assess to be genuine, and who is around you. Following your instincts about people can be important here. Just because someone is around/near you, doesn't mean they are good (vs. bad)company. Sometimes being alone is better than being in bad company.Set up social activities when you're not feeling lonely. Anticipate.Read literature and go to museums/theater/dance. Art reaches inside. For those with religious beliefs, consider fellowship with those of your faith. Most churches should have some sort of regular fellowship, if your church doesn’t then consider starting one.
Remember that reaching out to someone else lonelier than you could give you more happiness than you could imagine. Learn to meditate so that you have the experience of being loved and nurtured emotionally by other sources than human beings.Consider getting a pet! Animals can make marvelous companions; they give unconditional love, and can offer you loyal company. Walking a dog can also be a great way of meeting other people!Try not to get stuck into a rut with routines; routines allow you to go on auto-pilot, allowing you to day-dream about "what could be." Even worse, you're less likely to act on those day-dreams, because you'll be comfortable with your routines. Shake things up! Engage yourself in some activity that would keep your mind occupied. Remember that loneliness happens to everyone and that there is someone to talk to. Surround yourself with positive people.
Loneliness is a state where cults will find you most vulnerable. Be careful and listen to what others have to say about any group you are thinking of joining.
If you have a persistent feeling of loneliness, please seek medical help. It might be a sign of depression.Watch out! Becoming overly dependent on online communities as a social outlet may lead to addiction and more complications. Avoid trolls during all online conversations. When talking about yourself, avoid getting too personal. This might put people off, and invite mistreatment.

I spent my whole day at the mall today, that is why I kind of blogging late. Carole, a friend of mine picked me up to go do some partial christmas shopping. We went to Macy, Sears, Office depot, Ross. Bought some stuff, boy.... shopping is tiring I tell yah.
While on the mall I can't resist not to take a picture of the giant Christmas tree on the middle of the Mall. It is so pretty and inviting. So, I did, here is some photos, a picture of the Giant Christmas tree and me. The picture of me and the tree is kind of blury, just because my friend uses her phone to take the picture and she was kind of not use to using her camera on her phone. As you can see, Santa was waiving behind me... so funny.

What Does Your Sleeping Position Say About You?
Sunday, November 22, 2009
As I was visiting Imelda blog,I saw a quiz that she posted Friday and tag me and few other bloggers. I am pleased to take this quiz and share it to blogoshpere.
Anywho here is the result:
Your Sleeping Position Says You Need Comfort
You are secretly sensitive, but you often put up a front.
Shy and private, you yearn for security.
You take relationships slowly.
You need lots of reassurances before you can trust.
If you don't get enough sleep, you are: Cranky and a big baby
It's hard to sleep next to you because: You are a light sleeper
It is quiet interesting how we can find out what it mean little thing that we do in life. Everyone are welcome to take this quiz. Happy blogging everyone.

Sky Watch Friday # 2
Friday, November 20, 2009
It's that time of the week again, sky watch Friday. Sky here in Seattle is very-very gloomy. As you can see on the image below. It is depressing, we had one storm to another. It has been raining constantly... we have a little break today, but look like it is about to rain again. That is my sky watch for today.

Get Everything You Want in Life
Wednesday, November 18, 2009
The biggest drag in life seems to be when routine sets in and you lose all sense of purpose. What makes this even worse is when chaos sets in from some area of life, such as with finances, and causes you to feel like you're losing control over everything. Here's how to get back control and accomplish all the things you want to do.
Identify What You Want to Accomplish In order to get started in the right direction you have to know what you're aiming for. To do this, you need to write down everything you want to do. Make a list of things you need to accomplish. It may help to start with the things you need to get more control over, such as finances, organization, etc. List every goal you can think of whether it's large or small. You can even include menial tasks in your list, such as "do all my laundry." The important thing is to write it ALL down. Identify Obstacles Make a second column after the first one. In this column, write down everything that's preventing you from accomplishing that task. Be completely honest. If it's not enough money, write it. If it's not enough time, write it. If there is nothing preventing you from getting something done, write that down. Identifying any obstacles that are preventing you from accomplishing anything is one of the most important elements here. This will serve two purposes - it will highlight all the things you can do that you've just been lazy about (such as laundry), and it will give you an idea on what you need to overcome to get those items crossed off your list. What's important to realize at this point is that the underlying cause is, ultimately, that inaction is the number one thing preventing you from doing all these things. This leads you to the next column. Formulate a Plan Make a third column and write down a plan of action now that you know what's preventing you from accomplishing everything you want. The reality is that you have to take action, and without having a plan, you'll just keep spinning your wheels and nothing will get done. If one of your obstacles is not enough money, maybe you can write down ideas on how to make more money, how to spend less money, or how to get a handle on your finances. If there is nothing preventing you from doing something, write down that you need to JUST DO IT! If your goal is "Learn to ride a motorcycle", and not having a motorcycle is what's preventing you, write down "find a friend with a motorcycle" or "save money for a motorcycle". Write down anything that comes to mind. Put Your Plan Into Action Now that you have a plan, you need to act on it. It is all up to you at this point.
Utilize External Resources If you're trying to get your finances in order, enlist the help of a financial advisor, look up articles on how to save money, etc. There are plenty of resources out there that are readily available for free.Resolve to do whatever it takes to get your life in order or accomplish the things you want. If one thing doesn't work, do not give up. Simply reevaluate your plan and make adjustments. Try to find new ideas on how to accomplish the things on your list.
Realize that not all things happen overnight. It may take some time, but nothing is outside your grasp if you're determined to do it.

Hail, Thunder & Lightening in North
Saturday, November 14, 2009
Early yesterday NW weather turn out really quite nice. But later yesterday, the thunder, lightning came. After thunder and lightning the hail came along. Darn....Seattle weather is very unpredictable. We were on the way to Fred Myers and wall mart when the hail came pouring. Traffic were slowing down all over, few accident happened in 405. We did not get to go to Wall mart, because of this darn hail. The freeway was bumper to bumper because of the hail, we decided to turn around and not to risk going to wall mart. But we did buy few things that we really needed at Fred Myers.
NW weather is very complicated, one or two day you will see the sun partially then the weather will turn around and ruin the day. Good thing I got a chance to take a picture for the skywatch before the weather really turned ugly.

I have been feeling so down lately and I don't fell like talking to anybody. They said that people go to depression in different ways. One may sleep too much, while another sleeps too little. Some people don't eat enough and lose weight, while others overeat and gain weight.
I am one of the two mention above. I sleep late and wake up too early, I am very irritable, and I think I have been eating a lot that I have gained weight:((. I go through this situation once in awhile, I know that is it not healthy. I tried doing things to occupy myself. I think I am just homesick, I don't know! Felt like I want to run a long run or go on the top of the mountain and cry out loud. My gosh! I think I am losing my mind.

When she turn 8 two years ago, she started liking light blue and purple.
There is certain pink I like, light pink and medium dark pink and that goes toward by LG cell phone. I have a medium pink color on my cell phone.
I must say pink is stunning color and goes with any color basically. I thank Charlotte Victoria for inviting me for this wonderful Pink Meme. Every one are welcome to join this meme.

Support Our Military Personnel
Wednesday, November 11, 2009
There are many options on how to support our military personnel whether they are overseas at home. The following tips are ideas on how to support our military.
Living in a democracy means the most important thing you can do is to oppose any unnecessary deployments no matter who orders them.Participate in support organizations that send letters military stationed overseas. Purchase telephone cards and donate them to organizations who mail them to overseas military personnel. Participate in organizations that make and send homemade gifts such as scarves, mittens and the like. Yahoo Groups has several groups that support our veterans by making homemade items for our vets.
Say thank you if you happen to meet someone who is serving our country. Offer to support the local military relief society. Relief societies are usually found at most military installations. Invite a soldier, sailor, airman marine, or coastguardsman home for a holiday dinner. Contact the local military installation's family services unit to see if they maintain a list of military personnel interested in joining you for dinner.Honor military families by contributing to the Toys For Tots program. Most military families live on limited budgets and remembering military kids during the holidays will brighten their spirits. Military and non-military families can participate in the Toys for Tots program. It is not a program for only military families.

Cope with Minor Illnesses
Monday, November 9, 2009
It is that time of the year again. Cold Season. When you come down with the sniffles, the flu, or a cold, make sure you take care of it, before it turns into something worse.
1. Don't do too much. If you know you're sick or feel yourself getting a scratchy throat, don't overwork yourself. Get to bed early that night and wear thick socks to bed.
2. Wear warm clothes. If you still feel sick in the morning, put on a sweater or robe when you get out of bed and put socks on if you slept with your socks off. If you have a fever you don't have to bundle up as much, but you should still wear as much as you feel comfortable with
3. Brush your teeth, gums, and tongue really well to kill any germs in your saliva. Rinse with mouthwash.
4. Use hot water. If you have a cold, wash your face with hot water; for a fever, wash with cold but not too cold.
5. Take a hot bath if you have a cold, and a room-temperature bath if you have a fever.
6. Have a substantial breakfast with the freshest ingredients you have; this means real food like fruit and toast or cereal if you're in a pinch. Whatever you, do don't skip breakfast, unless you feel like you're going to throw up. If you're going to throw up, have a little bit of some bread or similar dough products.
7. Have a hot drink with your breakfast, and make a thermos of some hot liquid to take to work or school.
8. Stock your purse or backpack with the following on-the-go supplies:
Halls or other sore throat/cold lozenges;
A thermos full of hot liquid.
9. Wear the most comfortable clothes you can - at school, you'll probably be allowed to wear a sweater and track pants, but if you have to work in a professional setting then at least wear comfortable shoes.
10. Don't exert yourself too much. Walk slowly and sit down as much as possible.
11. Take short breaks every hour or so. If you work at a desk, put your head in your arms on the desk and close your eyes for a few minutes to refresh yourself.
If you need to sneeze but you don't have a tissue, sneeze into your armpit instead of your hands to reduce the spread of germs. Tea and broth-based soups are the best liquids to drink when you're sick. Coffee can make you jittery and nauseous. Ginger Ale commonly works, too.In the end, the only thing that can kill the cold virus is your body's immune system. Your goal for the next few days should be to make yourself as comfortable and rested as possible so your body can do it's work.
Don't share any food, drinks, or any object that goes in your mouth with other people.Throw dirty tissues into the toilet, or into a paper bag just for this purpose. If you have a very high fever, take a fever-reducer like Tylenol and then towel yourself off with cool water, especially behind the neck and under arms. This will lower the fever. If the fever does not get lower than 103, then call the doctor Check dosages for all medicine you take, go to drsears.com for child dosages. If you're feeling really bad, just stay home. If you force yourself to go to work you'll make yourself more sick and will end up staying home for even longer. If the illness lasts for more than 2 weeks or is accompanied by ear pain, hoarseness, difficulty breathing, rash or muscle aches, see your doctor. It could be a more complicated disease requiring antibiotics.

Aromatherapy Skin Cleansing Creams
Friday, November 6, 2009
Aromatherapy can help you to take care of your skin by mixing aromatherapy oils into your own cleansing creams and lotions. You will soon realize how much you can improve your overall appearance and well being without too much fuss and expense. Also, you will benefit from the soothing aromas of the oils.
1. Use your favorite un perfumed cleansing cream or milk.
2. Add any of the following aromatherapy oils, either singly or in combination for each skin type. The ratio is two drops of oil to every 4 fl oz (100 ml) of cleanser:
Normal skin: Rose, neroli, lavender, sandalwood
Dry skin: Chamomile, geranium, rose and ylang-ylang
Combination skin: Lavender, geranium
Chapped, cracked skin: Benzoin and chamomile
Hyper-sensitive skin: Chamomile, neroli, jasmine, rose
Broken capillaries: Neroli, rose, lemon and peppermint
3. Clean your skin morning and night. An effective cleansing routine will balance your skin, helping it to function properly. All skin types need to be cleansed twice a day. Beauty therapists found that a lot of clients who would not dream of going to bed without cleansing their skin don’t bother to do so in the morning. However, cleansing in the morning is really important. Your skin throws out toxic waste products while you sleep and if you apply moisturizer straight on to your skin, you are actually preventing this shedding process from being effective.
Follow these routines as suits your skin:
Normal skin cleansing:Morning: Use either a cleansing milk or a balanced cleansing bar.Evening: Remove make-up with cleansing milk then repeat with milk or a cleansing bar.Oily skin cleansing: Morning: Either use cleansing milk or a balanced cleansing bar, if you prefer to wash your face. Evening: First use a cleansing milk to remove all traces of make-up. Then wash your face with a balanced cleansing bar. Dry skin cleansing: Morning: Use a cleansing cream. Massage it into your face with your fingers thoroughly then remove.Evening: Use cleansing milk to remove make-up. Cleanse again using cleansing cream. Combination skin cleansing: Morning: As for oily skin, pay particular attention to nose, chin and forehead areas. Evening: As for oily skin, be gentle on your cheeks and if they are dry repeat the cleansing process with a milk cleanser rather than by washing your face. Hyper-sensitive skin cleansing: Morning: Use cleansing milk or cream specially made for very sensitive skin. Avoid skin washes. Evening: Remove make-up with a cleansing milk. Repeat the cleansing using a cream. Be gentle when removing cleanser.
Try some plain, old extra virgin olive oil to help condition your skin. A little bit goes a long ways on wet skin right out of the shower. Smear it all over and rubbing in, then you dry off the remaining water drops and get dressed. Just use a lot less.
Things You'll Need
Essential oils as described above
Unperfumed cream or cleansing milk
