Avoid Bad Relationships

Bad relationships are often mysterious and alluring, but you can avoid them and the people responsible. It's just a matter of being aware.

1. Recognize the warning signs. Bad relationships are hurtful, humiliating or otherwise detrimental.
2. There are people who will use your weaknesses against you to obtain what they want. Avoid or otherwise dismiss them from your life. They aren't hard to recognize.
3. They will attempt to prey on your insecurities. Perceived or real. If you are lonely they will allude to that Attempting to make you fear that your loneliness may not ever end unless you give in to them.
4. The may try to play on your sympathies. Feigning hurt and vulnerability to illicit your attentions. They may say things such as they've been hurt in the past. Or life has been unkind to them.
5. Life has been unkind to all of us at times. They are just trying to manipulate you. Recognize it.
6. If you must communicate be brief. Do not play into their games. Offer no sympathy. Be straightforward and detached. Make it evident you're onto them.
7. Keep people of this sort at a distance. They are dangerous.
