Be Chic

Monday, June 29, 2009

Being chic is not about the most fashionable clothes, it's about what makes you feel comfortable and what style suits you.

1. Choose what suits you. A long skirt on someone who is tall looks really nice, but if you are only 5 feet tall it will look really silly.
2. Style your hair in a classic style. If your hair is long you can leave it loose or in an up do.
3. Wear clothes that will stand the time of fashion.
4. Try on lots of clothes before you go out.
5. Put on accessories that match a key color in what you are wearing. If you have a red shirt on and a black skirt put on a red necklace, earrings, and bracelet. Team this with a red bag and red shoes.

One black dress can be given lots of different styles with different colored belts and necklaces. Have a collection of different colored necklaces, earrings, bracelets, belts and shoes. All sizes and colors of bags too, because you can lift an outfit with a bag.Don't over accessorize! You will look tacky, not chic.
