Saturday, September 26, 2009

Epidemics. They can be as small as an outbreak of the flu, or as big as the Black Plague. There are some ways to be mostly safe from these illnesses, follow this and you will be prepared to combat the problem when it hits.

1. Make sure you know what type of sickness it is and if you have had it before. If you know this, then you can tell how much caution you should take.
2. Know who has this illness and what precautions they are taking to not spread it.
3. Get the vaccines for the illness. Many times, clinics will give out free shots to the public to help protect people from the epidemic.
4. Take proper precautions and listen to the news for info on the spread of the disease. Keeping informed may pay off in the long run.

Wash your hands often to prevent the spread of germs.
One city in China had to wear surgical masks by law if they didn't have the dangerous flu virus that was going around.
Be calm and live your life like you normally would.
Some epidemics can be deadly. Take extra precautions while dealing with these.

Things You'll Need
