Tell if She Is out of Your League

Friday, September 19, 2008

Have you ever stopped yourself from talking to that girl that caught your eye because you weren't sure if she was out of your league? This simple trick will tell you if you have a chance.

Find the particular girl that you're interested in and make sure she is in a casual place where she is comfortable and able to be herself.
Sit a couple tables (or the equivalent) away from her, where you can both clearly see each other.
Act casual, observing your surroundings while also glancing at her from time to time.
Without staring, establish eye contact with the girl.
Lock eyes for a brief moment.
Observe how both you and the girl react to the eye contact.

If you look away before she does, she has a higher level of self confidence and she is out of your league.
If she looks away before you do, you have a higher level of self confidence. You are technically out of her league, but sometimes we like the shy girls.
If she continues to stare at you and acts confused, uncomfortable, or angry she has a defensive personality and you most likely want to stay away from her. She is not girlfriend material!
If you both lock eyes and smile or act friendly, you two are perfect for each other. You both have the same level of self confidence and you are compatible. Her smiling back is a clear sign that she is open to your company. If she is single, you have a chance!

Be careful when testing this experiment in public places such as crowded restaurants or bars. Also, never attempt this when she is surrounded by other girlfriends. You need to find her in a place where she is acting herself and won't be offended by you looking at her.
Don't be a creep! Be careful not to stare. The eye contact has to be established as naturally as possible. Don't just stare at her until she looks at you.
