As the website says, the Ice hotel is only on loan from the Torne River in northern Swedish. But before it melts away, you can experience what it's like to sleep in a modern-day igloo, have a drink at the Absolute ice bar, or exchange your wedding vows in the ephemeral Church. And be sure to visit the art gallery, which showcases ice art by competitors in the hotels annual design contest. Better make your plans soon- when summer comes, the fantastic structure, art, bar, and all disappears into the raging rapids.
