Stairway To Heaven

A friend of mine in Europe introduce me into watchpinoy.tv and guess what? I got addicted watching the mini series (soap opera). I just got done watching Stairway to Heaven. I liked it! I am into romance. Sad ending though. I used so many tissue watching the finale.

I am so happy that I have the opportunity to embrace the movies, mini series (mga pelikula sa pinas). If you guys wants to watch some of filipino movies, balita and more just visit here and here. Sleep Well While Traveling

When you are traveling, you should have enough vigour to walk and enjoy your travels. But if you don't sleep enough for your body, you will feel very tired and you won't be able to focus on what you see and feel. Sleeping well is important for traveling.

Lie in bed and close your eyes. Wear a face mask if you are sensitive to light.Pose your body like you usually do when you sleep. Make your most comfortable posture when lying in bed. Relax. Try not to be tense because your schedule says that you should wake up early tomorrow. Don't make your schedule too tight, either. Take a bath. Taking a bath not only make you feel comfortable but also helps you release your tension. Don't think about what you are not used to in the area you are visiting. Listen to some light music to release tension. Music like Hip Hop and Rock may interrupt your sound sleep. If you are experiencing jet lag, you can sleep more in the airplane or shift your sleeping patterns slowly a few days prior to travel. Take long, deep and slow breaths if you are still awake.

Having a little drink, such as warm milk, may help you to sleep.Don't eat or drink things that contain caffeine. Remove your shoes and socks at your destination and walk around on grass, this will allow your body to aclimatise its electro-magnetic body clock, or, like in the movie "Die Hard", make "fists with your toes", or curl them inwards.

Avory's Basketball Game

Last night was my daughter's basketball game in Leavenworth WA at the old gym high school. The game was so intense.. you know how parents, they get so excited about thing that their kids does.

The vale elementary (my daughter's team ) did really on their game last night. They scored 26, while the opposite team was 6. I cannot wait for the next game..anywho, I would like to post some picture that I took during the game.

Wear accessories and clothes with skulls, crossbones, guns, and brass knuckles.
For the hair,try different colored extensions,or dye your hair bright colors like red,hot pink,blue,green,platinum,and black. You can tease your hair and make it look messy and put some colored extensions in it, or straighten it. Wear those cute hair bows from Hot Topic, to seem evil, you have to mock those fake preps.Wear red, as it looks demonic!!

Always smile, it'll make you seem like you're up to something. Even when you get in fights, smile at the person and look in their eyes fiercely. Call them names like sweetheart and darling. Sarcasm helps a lot to intimidate people. Talk in a sweet voice and you'll scare the hell out of them.Practice an evil laugh, and make it realistic.Deny that you're evil; always call yourself innocent when someone accuses you. It'll leave them guessing. Be mysterious.
Don't forget to let people know that you're a good person on the inside.

Bitter Melon with Eggs

I bought this bitter melon at Ate Sonias' oriental mini mart the other. I totally forgot about it, when I open the fridge there it was..so told my self I better cook it before it get rotten. I don't have a complete ingredients to make penakbet ( filipino dish) so I just went ahead and cooked it with eggs. I saw my mom cooking it before with eggs so I tried. Probably hers isn't good as mine.. so is the outcome.





Bitter melon has this bitter taste to it so what I did to minimized the bitterness of this vege was I sliced it into tiny pieces and springkle it with salt and rub them together and rinse 'em. The bitterness is less that I expected, and I think it tasted good(lol). Anyway, I just want to share it with you all.
