Sleep Well While Traveling

Monday, January 25, 2010

When you are traveling, you should have enough vigour to walk and enjoy your travels. But if you don't sleep enough for your body, you will feel very tired and you won't be able to focus on what you see and feel. Sleeping well is important for traveling.

Lie in bed and close your eyes. Wear a face mask if you are sensitive to light.Pose your body like you usually do when you sleep. Make your most comfortable posture when lying in bed. Relax. Try not to be tense because your schedule says that you should wake up early tomorrow. Don't make your schedule too tight, either. Take a bath. Taking a bath not only make you feel comfortable but also helps you release your tension. Don't think about what you are not used to in the area you are visiting. Listen to some light music to release tension. Music like Hip Hop and Rock may interrupt your sound sleep. If you are experiencing jet lag, you can sleep more in the airplane or shift your sleeping patterns slowly a few days prior to travel. Take long, deep and slow breaths if you are still awake.

Having a little drink, such as warm milk, may help you to sleep.Don't eat or drink things that contain caffeine. Remove your shoes and socks at your destination and walk around on grass, this will allow your body to aclimatise its electro-magnetic body clock, or, like in the movie "Die Hard", make "fists with your toes", or curl them inwards.

How To Look Evil

Sunday, January 17, 2010

Have you ever wanted to look evil, seductive, wild, and sexy? Read on.

Apply makeup. You want incredibly defined and dramatic eyes for this look. Try a dark or neon colored eyeshadow. Try colors like blue, hot pink, lime green, black, and silver. Start out with a base like a shimmery white so the eyeshadow will stay, apply your base color to the lid and go halfway down the lid and wing it out and then put a darker color (black works best) over the outer-half of the lid. Apply lots of mascara then comb your lashes to eliminate clumps. Reapply eyeliner and take a black eyeshadow and go over the eyeliner [not in the inner corner]Add a little glitter if you want. Your eyes will look amazing! Try different colors! For the lips try a clear or light pink, sparkly nude looks awesome. Keep the lips simple the main focus is your eyes!Don't be afraid to show a little skin. Go to Hot Topic, they have some hot skinny jeans and you could wear one of those corset tops that are really sexy.

Wear accessories and clothes with skulls, crossbones, guns, and brass knuckles.
For the hair, try different colored extensions,or dye your hair bright colors like red,hot pink, blue, green, platinum, and black. You can tease your hair and make it look messy and put some colored extensions in it, or straighten it. Wear those cute hair bows from Hot Topic, to seem evil, you have to mock those fake preps.Wear red, as it looks demonic!!

Always smile, it'll make you seem like you're up to something. Even when you get in fights, smile at the person and look in their eyes fiercely. Call them names like sweetheart and darling. Sarcasm helps a lot to intimidate people. Talk in a sweet voice and you'll scare the hell out of them.Practice an evil laugh, and make it realistic.Deny that you're evil; always call yourself innocent when someone accuses you. It'll leave them guessing. Be mysterious.
Don't forget to let people know that you're a good person on the inside.

Go to Hot Topic! Practice your evil stare, and laugh in the mirror. Always, always, smile.Try not to torture the people you hate (too much). Don't scare off your crush or boyfriend, seduce him with your eyes, and tease him in a cute way. Look up Lacey Connor from Rock of Love.

Bitter Melon with Eggs

Friday, January 15, 2010

I bought this bitter melon at Ate Sonias' oriental mini mart the other. I totally forgot about it, when I open the fridge there it told my self I better cook it before it get rotten. I don't have a complete ingredients to make penakbet ( filipino dish) so I just went ahead and cooked it with eggs. I saw my mom cooking it before with eggs so I tried. Probably hers isn't good as mine.. so is the outcome.

Bitter melon has this bitter taste to it so what I did to minimized the bitterness of this vege was I sliced it into tiny pieces and springkle it with salt and rub them together and rinse 'em. The bitterness is less that I expected, and I think it tasted good(lol). Anyway, I just want to share it with you all.

PR Gone Down

Saturday, January 9, 2010

Well, a month ago I was so happy because I finally got my PR back up to 3. My PR of 3 stayed for more than a month and that gave me the opportunity to be able to have the task assigned to me because of my PR rank. But when I checked it just now.... I was so devastated for my PR went town to zero. I am not sure the reason why but it did, maybe because I have not been active on my blog for several days. I am still confuse.

Anywho.... I am still grateful for google giving me the PR3 for more than a month, but sad to see that it is gone .

Appreciate Films

There are many different genres in film: action, adventure, comedy, crime, drama, epics, horror, musical, science fiction, war, and westerns. Want to have the best experience possible?

Realize the type of film you are watching, and adjust accordingly. For example if you are watching a western movie, don't expect there to be lots of technological advancements.Be in tune with your tastes. If you can't stand musicals then don't waste your time watching them.Pay attention to a film you are watching. Some people can become easily distracted and when the main point of the film appears they don't understand what has happened. This can lead to lots of criticism of the movie.Understand the type of work people have done in order to entertain you as a viewer. Actors, editors, and directors have put a lot into the cinematographic production of these movies. When watching a film pick an environment suitable for you. If you like going to a theatre then do so, but other people would rather watch a movie in the home.Pay attention to the positive side of a film. Most people watch films for enjoyment so if you are consistently pointing out or looking for the negative things in a film then you aren't going to enjoy the film.

Understand the intent of the movie. Most movies will try to tell a story, but the intent of a film can be to communicate a set of characters, a time in history, or even a single emotion. Pay attention to the intent and judge accordingly.Try to see a movie on the day it released or soon thereafter. Movie prints are quickly damaged by projection equipment and inexperienced operators. The projectionist is typically the person who sells you your treats. They run up to the booth at the start time or may even press a button right there in the lobby to start the picture.Watching a damaged print is no fun because there are distracting breaks and scratches. Sometimes it is unavoidable because the town you live in may not be included in the movie's initial release. Even if you get the movie on the second week, chances are it will already be damaged. The chain showing the movie has shipped a damaged print to your theatre and given a nice fresh print to a theatre that is higher on the company food chain. Exhibitor politics.

Try complaining about damage to the print. Watch them look at you as if you are from the planet Tralfamador. When you see a movie as soon as it is released, you get the jump on your friends. You can ask them, "Have you seen ____ yet?" When they say no, you can say, "YOU HAVEN'T!!" to make them feel uncool and unhip. Put yourself in the film makers shoes (metaphorically!) and try to find out what they are trying to say to the audience, don't be too quick too judge the movie as a bad one.

Hilly's Shoes

After Church, my daughter and I went shopping, well....I really did not plan to buy things we really don't need. We went to walmart and bought some stuff that we needed. And my daughter for some reason she wants see if target has the Hilly's shoes. Apparently they did not have it. We went to famous footwear and they do have it and its on on sale. The normal price was $59.00 and it was on sale for $49.00, I guess you call that on sale eventhough you only save $10.00 lol. My daughter really...really wanted it, I told her I dont have enough money to buy it right now, I told her that her birthday is coming up (it's on January 18th), I told her I will maybe...just maybe LOL... will buy it for her birthday. But then my friend Ate eda called asked me where was I, I said I am at the famous footwear and Avory want the hilly's shoes and I dont have enough change for it right now. She said (Ate Eda) to go ahead and she will pay for it, she said that, that's her early birthday present for her. My daughter was very happy when she found out that her Auntie Eda was going to buy it for her as birthday present.

Ate Eda is the only filipina that I ever been closed with... and she is like my older sister, kaya spoiled nya mga anak ko minsan, we do vice versa though, her daughter angelica was spoiled by me when she was little, now that she is 16 and got a job, and already driving. Anyway , that was my day today, I tell yah... shopping is tiring kahit konti lang pinamili (LOL.)Here what the shoes look like...just want to share with you all ....
