I bought this bitter melon at Ate Sonias' oriental mini mart the other. I totally forgot about it, when I open the fridge there it was..so told my self I better cook it before it get rotten. I don't have a complete ingredients to make penakbet ( filipino dish) so I just went ahead and cooked it with eggs. I saw my mom cooking it before with eggs so I tried. Probably hers isn't good as mine.. so is the outcome.
Bitter melon has this bitter taste to it so what I did to minimized the bitterness of this vege was I sliced it into tiny pieces and springkle it with salt and rub them together and rinse 'em. The bitterness is less that I expected, and I think it tasted good(lol). Anyway, I just want to share it with you all.
