Amuse Yourself When You're Home Alone with Nothing to Do

So it's a rainy day, your parents left you in the house for a half an hour, as they think you're old enough. The electricity is gone, you're an only child, you have no friends over. What will you do for fun?

Draw something or write something totally random. You can copy things from books, or make up some funny jokes.Play Rugs Fun carpet and rug designs. Roads, game boards, etc. You may be feeling bad, or like you need a good laugh. Look back at some funny times you and your friends had, or look at some scrapbooks, or old pictures.Take the time to read some books and think about your favorite authors.Play video games, if you can.Play with a not-so-jumpy-pet, like a turtle.

Teach your dog new tricks, but make sure he isn't too giddy in the process. Sure, this can be stressful, but it'll pass time.
You could try playing any indoor sports. These are mostly for younger ones, but nobody cares, right? Try hoola-hoop or skipping. Nobody's there to watch you!!
8Do you have a diary? Write in it or read what you wrote in the past, it's always fun to see what you went through before and what your thoughts were.
9If the electricity is'nt out, spend some time on your laptop/computer, that's always a good passtime. Write a story. It can be anything. If it is not raining but you don't really feel like going outside, it'll be quiet if the electricity is gone and you can concentrate more on good ideas.Fool around on a musical instrument. Create your own music!Play with some toys.Have a "hug-a-thon" by asking people that pass you on the street if they want a hug!Take a nap even if your not tired its a way to kill time, and you never know what you'll dream of!
15Watch TV shows that you normally never watch, like stupid reality shows or animal planet.Try to write a song.

Look for things around the house that will give you an idea of what to do. Ex: If you saw a pencil, it would inspire you to write. Almost any word can inspire you to read because you are nearly always reading something. f the electricity is not out, talk to your friends on the phone or just text them and ask for some news.
On your mobile phone, have a look around, there may be stuff you haven't seen before. If you were looking at pictures, and never had a good look around the options menu, you could find something like insert clipart or add border. you learn something new every day.Listening to music, or even dancing is a great way to make time fly.
Now would be a pretty good time to do your homework. Although most people dislike it, it can be a much easier when everything's quiet, and nobody is in your way. At least you can get it over with. Make some art.
