Living without a computer sucks. But sometimes, it can help you Find Yourself.
Get a hobby: not many people know this but you can find a hobby just by watching TV, walking down the street, or even sitting on your porch. Find something you like to do.
Borrow a computer: no, don't go take a friend's computer and leave an I.O.U note...instead go to a friend/relative's house and ask to use their computer to check your e-mail and find a few things(your hobby). (You may also want to check the news, so you don't get left behind). Don't become too dependent on their computer though, or this article would be useless.
Work on your hobby: get better and better at your hobby then..GO FIND ANOTHER ONE! It's good to have 2 hobbies. You wont get as bored.
Multitask: see if you can do both hobbies at once, this will improve whatever you use in your hobbies (hands, feet, eyes etc.).
Speed it up!!: Do your hobbies faster than ever and make a few records. See if you can beat them!

For those who will do anything to get rid of boredom

Get some fake friends: you can get dolls, action figures, or little aliens from the store.
Talk to them: if you've ever seen CASTAWAY, just imitate him. Imagine the voice your friend has and talk to him/her. This will help you get rid of loneliness...

Configure your camera and set automatic power saving mode if no actions for more than few minutes.
Use your viewer finder, instead of LCD screen.
Turn off chase focusing function, if you do not really need to.
Always purchase and use large capacity batteries.


Use smaller image size will save a little bit, not much of it.

Pick the Right Foundation Makeup

Wondering how to find foundation that fits your skin tone exactly? Finding that matching paper labels doesn't help?

Go to a large store like a department store, large drugstore or beauty supply which carries multiple lines of cosmetics. Online is a bad choice to buy make-up unless you are re-ordering!
If a beauty technician is available, ask for help or at least ask for an idea to point you in the right direction.
Don't try to get too much out of one cosmetic. One foundation can't take off ten years, even out skin tone, even out skin texture, be shine-free, oil free and be 24 hour wear at the same time. Instead pick one or two needs you know you must have in a foundation.
Determine the undertone of your skin. Is it pink, yellow, peach, brown etc.
Look for a foundation with the same undertone.
Choose your shade by matching the color to your jawline. Since it's between your face and neck (the two places that the foundation should match), it's your best bet. If the shades of your face & neck are slightly different, attempt to find one that's in between.


Look for store samples you can try on your skin before you buy the product.
Ask the beauty technician if she can apply your foundation for you after you have purchased it so that you can pick up tips from her experience.
Don't wear foundation when you go out to buy foundation-it will be much too confusing to determine your natural coloring.
Buy a new foundation for every season. Your skin changes shade and texture from winter to summer.


Throw out foundation after 6-8 months. After this amount of time not only with the make-up develop bacteria, but it will lose pigment, separate and become less smooth in texture.
