Do you find it really difficult to appear normal and unaffected whenever your enemy appears? How many times have you made a fool of yourself publicly by behaving abnormally or viciously in front of your enemy or competitor? Here are some easy to follow steps to remain cool as a cucumber - even when the most hated person on your list pops up in front of you.
As soon as you see the enemy, start counting from one to ten under your breath to ease any anger, tension or frustration caused by seeing him or her.
Think of a situation in the past, where your competitor did something embarrassing. Having the person in mind as he/she behaved in this situation helps you to feel superior to him/her.
Flash your best and widest smile. A smile baffles the enemy further because they wonder why you are smiling at them.
If possible, go to the enemy, and shake hands with them, inquiring very confidently about their health, life and work.
Shower them with some praise about their appearance or any other trait you dislike most, making the trait appear to be their best point.
Be as sweet as possible in extending any sort of help, advice, guidance or support you are capable of offering them.
Don't repeat this whenever you see your enemy, sometimes just ignore him/her, that's to avoid being turned into a joke, especially if the enemy is amongst friends.
Bid them good-bye, leaving them flabbergasted and shocked by your behavior.
Don't smile so much that the sides of your mouth crack up and your true devilish self becomes obvious.
Subtlety is the key here. Be very subtle in showering praises on them. Too much praise may appear to be an insult.
Don't spend a lot of time with the contact. Your impatience may get the better of your good sense.
Don't go crazy with the flattering. It will make you look foolish.
Kill them with kindness.
Observe the reactions of the enemy to your changed behavior.
If the enemy doesn't appear to be very keen on listening to you, it is advisable to leave without uttering another word.
Don't be fooled by their sweet response to you. Remember, they may be putting up the same pretense as you are.
If flattered too much, they may mistake it as flirting.

Be A Health Nut
Tuesday, June 10, 2008
- Are you deeply concerned about your health? Worried about being sick and what is going into your body, and want to change it? Read on to integrate healthy practices into your life.
- Clean out your kitchen: get rid of most overly processed, premade, foods and food with anything "artificial." Don't throw out everything or you won't be able to cook, but get rid of the things you know are flat-out bad (e.g. that box of transfat-filled Oreos.) You can work on replacing the not-so-good ingredients in your pantry along the way.
- Shop healthier! Buy your groceries at natural food stores or from the "healthy foods" section of your closest market. Buy organic fruits and vegetables, herbal teas, fresh food, only white meat (or none at all), and anything made natural or organic. Look at the labels of the things you buy. It's always a good thing to be able to pronounce everything you are putting in your body, but just because something is listed by its chemical name, doesn't mean it's bad for you.
- Cook for yourself. Look for healthy recipes you can make.
- Reduce saturated and trans fats and sugars in your diet, and learn to include healthier substitutes. Instead of using oils and fats to flavor your food, try using spices. When you do need to use oil, use canola oil.
-
Eat lots of fruits and veggies. The body lovesfreshness.
Exercise regularly. Try different activities until you find some that you can enjoy. You don't have to be cheerful about it all the time, but you don't want to detest it or you won't do it.
Try new foods. Did you find a recipe for something you never heard of before? Make it and eat it. This will spice up your menu of healthy foods and you won't get bored.
Study-up on the latest health findings and how you can apply them to your life, but try not to get caught up in the latest fads.
- The main thing you want to purge your diet of is high fructose corn syrup and trans fats. It is vile stuff.
- Subscribe to a health magazine or email newsletter. RealAge has a good one.
- Learn what various common ingredients are, and why they are there. Some sound really bad, but aren't as dangerous as they are just hard to pronounce. Others seem innocent, but are far from it (see high fructose corn syrup tip, above.)
- You don't have to join a health club or buy an expensive home gym or treadmill to enjoy regular exercise. Running, walking, rollerblading, jumping rope, and biking are all examples of good exercise that you can do even with a small investment in clothing or exercise items.
- Healthy food doesn't have to taste like "health food". You can prepare a lot of really tasty meals that are also good for you. Check out magazines like Cooking Light to find recipes that are delicious and healthy.
- The term "organic" can apply to foods that are carefully prepared with your health in mind, or to something that barely qualifies for the word but isn't really healthy. Beware of "health marketing" tricks and stick to reading nutrition labels instead.
- Don't beat yourself up for eating something "processed" now and again. Over time you'll discover you actually crave them less and can enjoy them more when they are a special treat.

Test Your Lipstick For Dangerous Lead

Many women don't realize that when they're putting on their favorite lipstick each morning, it can be bringing them one step closer to lead poisoning. This guide will help you check to see if your lipstick contains lead.
Rub a small amount of lipstick across a part of open skin, preferably your hand.
Wipe a gold ring [or any jewelry made of gold] on it.
NOTE: "This claim appears to be drawn from an old alchemist's trick of testing the purity of gold by rubbing ore on a dark stone (often containing lead) and comparing the streak with another of known quality. However, the process does not work in reverse. Even if it did, there would not be a large enough concentration of lead in a strip of lipstick to produce a visible change.
Real, reliable detection of lead in a product requires rigorous scientific testing, and cannot be achieved "on the cheap" using normal household products."
Wait for about a minute or two. If the color turns black, then immediately throw the lipstick away. The lipsticks that you want to test are old ones, they don't make lipstick with lead anymore, but many from years past can be very dangerous.
If there is no color change, then your lipstick is fine. This part is very important, you must check with your other lipsticks and follow this process again. If you have any lipsticks from 5 years and older, throw them out! Even if they do not have lead, they may have bacteria which is common with old makeup including lipstick, eyeshadow and particularly mascara.
The lipstick will not turn black immediately. If it doesn't change within a minute or so, then it is fine.
Saint Laurent contains a considerable amount of lead.
Some mac lipsticks have lead too..
Things You'll need:
Lipstick
Gold ring (or any other gold jewelry)

How To Afford A video games
Have you ever wanted video games? They are an expensive form of entertainment but there are a couple ways (other than winning the lottery) to afford them.
Save your money! First off, you can't buy video games when you're broke. Save up for a video game by saving birthday money, for example.
Set a goal! What game do you want? You won't know how to get it if it's a mystery.
Go to the store! Don't get sucked in by salesman. They're subtle, but they may be payed commission, so have what you want ready.
Enjoy!
If you don't play the game immediately, take it back. If you're not excited about it right after you buy it, you're not going to be excited about in a couple of days.
Make sure you buy a game that is approved by your parents. You may need to take it back if your parents or guardians are strict about that kind of stuff.
Try to buy used games. You don't need to tell your friends, but it's cheaper, and most are in good, playable condition.
Don't buy games that are illegally reproduced, and don't do this yourself. It is illegal and you will get in a lot of trouble
