How to Manage Pimples and Still Be Beautiful

Saturday, September 6, 2008

Discover how you can still be beautiful with pimples by emphasizing your best features while taking steps to bring those annoying breakouts under control!

Think of some qualities yourself that you feel good about and put some energy towards them for a change!Make a list in your head or write them down.
Show off the good stuff! If you have big, beautiful eyes, show them off! What is your best feature? Eyes? Lips? Nails? Hair? If you have healthy nails, manicure them!If you have voluminous, silky hair, add hair gems to emphasize it!
Keep your skin clean and apply any treatments properly. Make sure to take extra care to wash off any make-up entirely.
Make an appointment to see a dermatologist for help in establishing a personalized treatment plan if you truly feel overwhelmed.
Remember that almost everyone has had break-outs. You are not alone!

Sweating opens your pores; after you work out be sure to cleanse and wash your face. After you are done washing your face either apply cold water to your face with a washcloth, or apply vitamin E oil, and then apply a cold washcloth.
If you start to feel really unhappy try using plain refrigerated yogurt as you would soap once every night. If used properly it will clear most acne cases up in a few days. Put some on a wash cloth and gently scrub, if you scrub to vigourusly you will scrape the tops off your pimples and make the problem even worse.
If a breakout starts to make you feel a bit insecure, remember to not put your focus on your flaws (using too much cover-up) so that they do not become the focus of others! Be sure to bring out your beauty, instead.
Try to keep your hands away from problem areas, touching the area can cause dirt to get "ground in" making the break-out worse.
Make sure and keep anything that touches your face clean. For example, if you wear glasses make sure that your frames and lens are cleaned regularly.
But remember- the easiest way to get rid of pimples is: cleanse your face in the morning when you wake up and at night when you go to bed! (Even if it appears clean!)
Pin back or grow out your bangs. The oil from your hair and the constant rubbing aggravates the problem more than it disguises it.
Stop consuming high-caffeine foods and beverages. These make you sweat more often, and more profusely.
High levels of stress often can cause breakouts. Stay relaxed and calm.
Eat yogurt, it has bacteria that help your digestive tract to function, which, in turn, allow your body to disperse nutrients more effectively. This improves both your overall health, and your acne.
Use gentle cleansers, products like Clearasil can be very harsh on sensitive skin.

How you feel about your outward appearance can wreak havoc on how you feel about yourself inside and vice versa. Start practicing putting your best self forward so you can feel good about yourself on the inside and out!
Don't pick at the spots it can cause them to get infected and they will take longer to heal.
If you have a spot that you absolutely must open (to relieve the pressure)only pop it using the ends of your fingers, using nails and needles will lead to even worse scarring!
Do not use peppermint (or mint in general) based cleansers, mint irritates skin and can make things worse!
Exfoilaite more then 3 times a week can be very hurtful to your skin and can ruin your skins natural barrier to bacteria!

Heal Acne Fast and Naturally

You see the movie stars and singer. Their skin is acne free. Even your friends have clear skin! Do you suffer from acne, and wish you didn't have any, but don't want to waste money on expensive products that don't even work? Here's how to destroy acne within a few weeks, and do it naturally, with things around your house.

Get the things you need. You will need a face cloth, a hand towel, soap (bar or liquid), and working water (hot and cold).
Wet down your face cloth with hot water. The water has to be so hot, the face cloth steams. Be careful not to burn your hands, though! When the face cloth is steaming, wring out the water, and place it on your face. This will open your pores. Repeat this process twice. Make sure your eyes are closed, unless you enjoy pain.
After opening your pores, quickly wash down your cloth again with hot water and put soap on it. Then scrub your entire face, but concentrate on the infected areas. Let the lather rest for about 40 seconds. While waiting, wash your cloth down again with hot water thoroughly.
Wipe the lather from your face thoroughly. Make sure none is left over.
Rinse the cloth with cold water. Make sure the cloth is VERY cold. Then place it on your face. This will close your pores. Dry your face with the towel, but don't rub, just dab the water off.
Now you're done! DO this process 3 times a day. Once in the morning, then in the middle of the day, and before bed. Your face will get noticeably clearer quickly!

Avoid touching your face.
Avoid eating greasy foods and chocolates.
Drink lots of water! It flushes toxins from your body and helps clear your skin.
OPTIONAL : Exercise a bit more. It can really help releive stress and acne.
Rub your face with baby powder before bed and in the mornings. This dries up blemishes and help prevent face invaders.
If your skin doesn't clear up in a day, don't worry! It doesn't mean the method isn't working. Skin doesn't clear automatically just because you've washed your face once.
